How It Started
We first met in 2017 while Char was attending the University of Texas at Austin (hook 'em horns!!) and Kyle had an internship in Austin for a semester. While we quickly became friends, we didn't start dating until way later. We spent a lot of time together with our friends during the Summer of 2018, but neither of us were really ready to start a relationship. Char was starting law school; Kyle was finishing up his final semester at Texas A&M University (gig 'em ags!!). It wasn't until September 2018 when we realized that we couldn't go a day without speaking to each other and life was easier together.
The Proposal
On November 19, 2022, Kyle proposed to Char in the snowy mountains of Cottonwood Canyon, Utah. Char's best friend, Autumn, told her that they were going to attend a Christmas market that day. After parking and walking up a snowy path, Autumn and her husband, Grant, asked for us to stop to take some pictures. After posing for a couple pictures, Kyle got down on one knee and proposed. He had been planning the proposal for quite some time and even hired a professional photographer to capture the special moment!
